Camp Taiwan is an authentic North American-style residential camp focused on confidence, independence and self esteem. Forty-five minutes from Taipei, Camp Taiwan is nestled on 80 acres on the North Coast of Taiwan in the foothills between Jin Shan and Wan Li. The scenery at Camp is stunning, home to unspoiled forests, ponds, streams, mountain trails and hidden waterfalls. It is Taiwan as past generations remember it.
For Mandarin Camp, Camp Taiwan is conducted entirely in Chinese. Campers will sing songs, learn activities and play games – all in Chinese. Great for Chinese learners.

Welcome dinner at Tavernist Taipei. "With globe light fixtures connected like an oversized pearl bracelet, the bamboo-clad room has a whimsical feel... the Taiwanese chef caters to the local palate by using Western techniques to cook local produce."
Farwell dinner at L'age. "Cozy atmosphere with dimmed lights and soft jazz playing in the background. Friendly and warm service bringing excellent, mostly French inspired, dishes to the table."

FAQ
What are the bathrooms like?
There are flush toilets and showers within the camp site. Cabins are ensuite. Guests staying in tents and camper vans have to use the communal toilets and showers.
Can I stay in a tent all 3 days?
Yes, if you find it a hassle to change accommodation, staying in a tent all 3 nights is an option. Unfortunately, due to the small number of camper vans available, guests can only stay a maximum of one night in the camper van.
What else is there to do besides the planned activities?
Not much, and that is the whole point. It is a luxury to spend three days in the clouds focusing on little else besides yourself and your family. We encourage you to unplug, read a print publication, go for walks, and enjoy being in nature.
