Myoko famously enjoys some of the heaviest snowfalls in Japan. Known for its deep powder snow, diverse terrain, and breathtaking mountain views, Myoko offers an unforgettable ski experience. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, Myoko's wide range of slopes across four main ski resorts - Akakura Onsen, Akakura Kanko, Suginohara and Ikenotaira - caters to all skill levels.

Stay in Akakura Onsen, the main village right in the hear of Myoko. Accommodation options include Hotel Alp, a modern ski-in-ski-out hotel incorporating the style of Zermatt, a sister city of Myoko City. Guests who prefer a melding of ryokan hospitality and contemporary comforts can choose to stay at A.I.R, another ski-in-ski-out hotel, right next to Hotel Alp. Both hotels are a 5-minute walk to the main street.

Choose Myoko for the village vibes and the convenience of having cafes, restaurants and shops all within walking distance of your accommodation.
