Jeju

Upcoming: 23 – 29 Nov 2025

Wheels & Wonders: Jeju Self-drive Itinerary

A guided self-drive tour designed for both adults and kids to immerse in nature. Local guide comes to the resort in the morning and guides guests to nature spots in a vehicle convoy. With this guided self-drive tour, guests benefit from the expert knowledge of a local guide while still having the freedom to explore Jeju on their own.

Stay at Yak Maeul, a rural resort complex that breaks away from the vertical room format of typical hotels and fully conveys the time and sense of nature. Enjoy food that reinterprets Jeju ingredients so Jeju’s food culture can evolve without being confined to tradition.

Pratical information

  • Many cities offer direct flights to Jeju, including Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo, Beijing and Shanghai. There are also direct flights from Seoul and Busan.

  • Yaks are the only animals that climb the Himalayas. They accompany humans as they climb rugged peaks, carrying their loads and shedding their fur from time to time, providing humans with eco-friendly insulation. When filling their stomachs, yaks leave their roots intact and only pluck branches and leaves, creating a sustainable global environment.

BYN Black Yak created Yak Village, a rural resort complex, so that travelers to Jeju can feel the heart of yaks in the beautiful nature of Jeju.

  • This is a self-drive holiday. We will be staying at Jungman Log Resort & Pension in Seogwipo throughout the trip and driving to different places on Jeju island from the pension every morning.

We ask that each family rents a car because having a car gives you the flexibility to explore Jeju on your own after scheduled activities end in the late afternoon each day. Rental cars cost about S$50 per day.
